Summary
This post is to support recruitment to studies on the National Portfolio.
There are a wide variety of studies which require good communication
skills and attention to detail and as we are increasing CWPs involvement
in pharmaceutical research good physical health skills including taking of
blood. The person would work as part of an established team and would
receive on the job training
This vacancy is part time, 2 years (Fixed term)
**We offer a relocation package of up to £8,000**

Patient recruitment and retention in studies
- To liaise with study administrators and health care staff to aid identification of participants for research studies.
- To work with clinicians to ensure that they introduce the study to potential participants and provide an information
sheet.
- To follow acceptable practices for identifying the whereabouts and contact details of potential participants.
- To provide verbal and written information about the study to potential participants as necessary.
- To assist the Research and Effectiveness Manager to monitor patient recruitment.
- To identify areas of low patient recruitment and liaise with the senior investigators and the
Research Manager to identify mechanism for improving recruitment.
- To work at all times according to Good Clinical Practice, Research Governance and Trust guidelines Data collection
- To ensure that any data collection is conducted according to specific research protocols and adheres to the Data Protection Act 1998 and according to ICH Good Clinical Practice guidelines
