The position of Lock Keeper has become available at Port Solent Marina, overlooking Portchester Castle. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team who work hard to provide the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following in order to qualify for consideration:
- Proven customer service or customer facing experience
- Must have a “can do” attitude
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Be able to stay calm under pressure
- Be computer literate
A good knowledge of boats and boating would be desirable but not essential as training, where required, will be given. In all cases we will support you to grow your skills and assist you to reach your potential.
This role includes working both indoors and outdoors in all weathers and includes working days / nights, weekends and bank holidays as required to keep our marina operational all year round. The duty rota covers 12-hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis and the successful candidate may be required to work at other local Premier Marinas’ locations.
