Crynodeb
Undertake assessment of all patients prior to the planning procedure to ensure they are fit to undertake the procedure and have all necessary support. Seek advice from senior colleagues and/ or referring to other specialists e.g. Macmillan social worker as necessary. Ensure all patients are given information regarding the procedure and that informed consent has been obtained for all elements of the process. Localise treatment volumes using the CT Scanner, simulator or clinical mark up as requested under the direction of the Advanced Practitioners Administer I.V. contrast as directed by the Clinician once competence has been achieved by following the formal training programme. Perform virtual simulation or prepare data for export into Eclipse planning system as required. Please see attached job description and person specification for full details.
