We are currently looking for Warehouse & Refurb Operative/Relief Driver to join the team at our Powys Community Equipment Service
Centre based in Newtown.
As a healthcare equipment provider, Millbrook Healthcare Group work in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment
and aids to support people in their day to day life. Our community equipment ranges from simple walking frames and crutches to
more complex equipment such as beds, hoists and pressure care equipment. We also carry out minor adaptations such as the
installation of handrails and grab rails within the home which can make a significant impact in giving people the confidence to
live more independently.
The Role:
* Decontamination of equipment achieved by following Company infection control procedures.
* Ensure that the correct equipment is being picked in relation to the delivery note requirements
* Demonstrate that all paperwork within the warehouse is fully completed in line with agreed procedures.
* Daily stock checks and stock management
* Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse and working in a way to ensure all Company Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
* Ensure any PPE supplied for use in carrying out your duties is used as instructed.
* Maintain a professional customer service attitude when dealing with all service users and other agencies.
* Observe all regulations covering the driving and use of the Company vehicle on the public highway and to be aware of employee
responsibility under the Health & Safety at Work Act.
* Agree to undertake all training offered that is necessary to maintain the skills required for this role.
* Assist the Driver Technicians to load and unload equipment onto or off their vehicles and store accordingly. Accompany driver
technicians or engineers on 2 man activities
* To complete Mobile Service Engineer runs planned at short notice to cover planned and unplanned absences.
About you:
* Previous relevant experience within a fast paced environment is preferable however full training will be provided
* You must hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 3 years) with no more than 6 points
* Previous van driving experience is preferable
* General warehouse knowledge is preferable
* Basic mechanical knowledge is preferable
