JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 46 year old lady with downs syndrome living in the Aberdare area, I live with my sister in law and her family and we have a friendly small Dog. I am going to be starting college in September to help me learn basic life skills and to promote my independence. Earlier this year I unfortunately lost my mam at times I can get teary but with reassurance and comfort am able to work through this.

I really enjoy singing and dancing, I love Disney and Abba and I go to the local disco once a month. I like to attend as many social activities as I can, I like to go walking in the country park and although I don’t swim I like to go in the pool.

When at home I watch tipping point, the chase, father brown and murder mysteries.

I am seeking a casual personal assistant to cover any annual leave or sickness I would need a driver to take me out and also to collect me from college, on a rainy day if we don’t go out I would like help with college work and learning independent skills.
