Age UK Oldham wish to appoint a Carer
Responsible to:
Care Services Manager
Location:
Any Age UK Oldham Day Care Service as required – Royton and Moorside areas
Hours:
28 hours per week, across 5 days Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm to meet the needs of the service
Salary:
Salary point 21: £18,683 per annum / £12.83 per hour
As an Age UK Oldham Carer you will be supporting older people living with Dementia who attend our Day Care Service with personal needs, social activities and helping to create a supportive and caring atmosphere for all involved.
You will ideally have experience of being a “hands on” carer of older people, knowledge of the physical, social and emotional needs of the elderly and have a passion to help us provide services and support, to inspire and enable older people within our communities.
Due to the nature of this position, any offer of employment with Age UK Oldham will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring (DBS) Service.
