Crynodeb
An established online retail business with its office located in Bradford has a wonderful opportunity for junior qualified lawyers with sound commercial contracts experience within their in-house legal team. This role will allow the successful candidate to continue upskilling their commercial contracts experience whilst gaining some unique exposure to the legal work associated with the running of a large retail operation in addition to certain elements of financial services work that will be an excellent addition to your CV for years to come.
This position will involve drafting and negotiating contracts across a number of legal areas, including Finance and Procurement, and, of course, Retail. You will work alongside an experienced Head of Legal and an experienced Senior Executive within the business who will be a useful source of information and knowledge as you grow into and expand this role.
Candidates will need to be qualified lawyers, and it is essential that anyone applying for this role already has commercial contracts experience gained at either a reputable legal practice or in another in-house environment. Naturally, any candidates who have worked in-house for other retail organisations will be of particular interest to my client, but this is not an essential requirement of the role.
Hybrid working is fully established in my client's business with 2 office days per week expected of the successful candidate. My client's Bradford office is not physically open on Mondays or Fridays, so this is an excellent opportunity for candidates who may value working from home at the very beginning of a new week and at the start of the weekend.
