This is an exciting opportunity to join Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust to help reduce the COVID-19 backlog of patients requiring treatment. It will be your responsibility to contact patients by telephone to gain their consent for outsourcing to multiple private providers working with the trust to help reduce the COVID-19 backlog of patients requiring treatment.

Your role will include additional duties such as data entry on excel spreadsheets, dealing with queries via email/telephone and collating patient’s notes from trust clinical systems as well as other administrative duties.

Please note: this role does not accommodate working from home and the successful candidate will be required to work from the office on a full-time basis.

As our Outsourcing Coordinator you will be the first point of call for all patient/staff enquiries so must be confident in dealing with patients and staff at all levels, be required to phone multiple patients on a daily basis so must have an excellent telephone manner and record patient responses on Excel spreadsheets so must have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel.

You will develop a good understanding of EPR & ERs systems, accurately and appropriately update and maintain EPR records as required, review medical notes on ACP, collate them together and send to private providers and be able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Your role will involve being aware of and follow the Trust Information Governance policies keeping all data secure, undertaking any general administrative duties as necessary, supporting and assisting the RTT Validation Teams if required and to support the Service Delivery Manager with any additional tasks if required.
