Temporary Labourer – Wood Mill Environment
Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Immediate Start | Temporary Placement | 4-Day Working Week
Workforce Unlimited is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Temporary Labourer to join a busy wood mill in the Boston area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in a similar role who is seeking reliable, ongoing work in a supportive team environment.
The Role:
You will be working within a wood mill, assisting with the manufacture of roof trusses and floor joists for the construction industry.
Key responsibilities include:
Assembling timber products using hand tools and machinery
Operating a nail gun safely and effectively
Manual handling and lifting of materials
Working as part of a close-knit team to meet production targets
Working Hours:
Monday to Wednesday: 7.00am – 5.30pm (½ hour lunch)
Thursday: 7.00am – 4.30pm
39 hours per week over 4 days
Optional overtime available on Fridays at an enhanced rate
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working in a wood mill or similar manufacturing environment
Confident using a nail gun and manual tools
Physically fit and able to undertake heavy lifting
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
