PS Ltd are recruiting a Counterbalance Driver for our client in Derby, Derbyshire
Summary
As an Counterbalance Driver, you will be essential in ensuring efficient materials handling and warehouse operations. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibilities include loading and unloading goods while operating a counterbalance forklift safely. With core skills in warehouse experience and equipment operation, you will also utilize premium skills in warehouse management systems and equipment repair. Your mechanical knowledge and ability to perform heavy lifting will contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our logistics processes. Responsibilities
Operate counterbalance forklifts to efficiently load and unload materials in the warehouse.
Ensure proper handling and storage of goods, adhering to safety protocols.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor repairs as needed.
Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage shipments.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain a clean work environment.
Perform heavy lifting and assist with shipping and receiving tasks as required.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an internationally recognized company and have long term regular work.
A valid accredited license's are essential for this position and will need to be recently refreshed (within 3 years)
You will be required to work Monday - Friday, 11am - 9pm
It is essential that you have your own PPE (high vis and safety boots) as these will NOT be provided by your employer.
