More detail about the role An exciting opportunity has arisen in the lovely seaside town of Sidmouth. Sidmouth Community Hospital currently have a band 6 Ward Sister/Charge Nurse vacancy. The inpatient ward is a 25 bedded rehabilitation unit and patients that are admitted will have a focused rehabilitation need that cannot be met in their home environment. The band 6 Ward Sister/Charge Nurse will form a key part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on promoting patient independence, helping them to regain their functional abilities in preparation for discharge. As a clinical team leader, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring professional and safety standards are met and provide direction and supervision to team members in order that they can provide patient care and services which are appropriate to the individual needs of the patient and the ward/unit. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours a week, internal rotation Interview Date: To be arranged Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2025/6 rates, inclusive of a 3.6% pay award which will be implemented later this year. If you join before the implementation date, the pay award will be backdated to your start date.
