Warehouse Picker - Days
We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our client's team in Spalding (PE11 2BB). This is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking people to work in a busy and friendly warehouse environment. No experience needed - just a good attitude and a willingness to learn.
The Spalding site is one of the largest in their Temperature Controlled Distribution network.
Role of a Warehouse Picker - Days
- Receiving and inspecting deliveries of goods and supplies
- Checking for damaged or missing items in received shipments
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using manual handling techniques
- Moving and storing products within the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Managing inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and replenishing shelves
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Picking various product with scanner
- Some manual picking
- Operating and managing technical equipment
- Adhering to safety management standards
- Adhere to all training, work instructions, and procedures
- Any other duties depend on client needs
- Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment
Pay rates:
- Day SHIFT:
- Mon - Friday - £12.21 p/h
- Saturday - £13.11 p/h
- Sunday / BH - £13.41 p/h
- OT: (Mon-Fri over 47.5h) £12.91
Shift Patterns Available:
- 4 on 3 off: 06:00 - 18:00
- 4 on 3 off: 08:00 - 18:00
(Includes a 30-minute unpaid break)
Duration: Ongoing
