Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
CPL's are middle leaders, overseeing a team of teachers across 3-5 classes with students with similar learning needsand profiles. They are responsible for the teaching, learning and provision within their pathway.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing leadership and management of pupil development and achievement across key Stage 3 at our Beckton site.
• Facilitating development of high quality teaching and learning in classrooms.
• Demonstrating the skills of an effective classroom teacher.
• Being a member of the site leadership team and assist in managing the site.
• Being a Deputy DSL.
• Modelling effective classroom leadership through a 50 percent teaching commitment.

The school is spread across four sites with a CPL vacancy currently at our Beckton ASC provision.
• Our Beckton site caters for children and young people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC), and severe learning disabilities (SLD), aged 11-19.
