What skills and experience we're looking for
York High School is looking to appoint an inspirational teacher with a proven record of outstanding practice, or the potential to be outstanding to join our Physical Education department.
York High School has a proven track record for the delivery of outstanding Physical Education. The department boasts superb facilities with access to a dance studio, large sports hall, fitness suite and a climbing wall. A broad and balanced Physical Education curriculum is delivered through a thriving department where students excel both inside and outside the classroom.
The successful candidate must have the ability to teach across the age and ability range, and inspire, motivate and challenge young people. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to contributing to the personal development of all the young people we teach.
Applications are welcome from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
