TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 1
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract Type: Temporary to cover maternity leave, term time + 3 days
Salary: Grade C
Start date 1st September 2025 to cover maternity leave.
We are a vibrant and forward looking school and the Governing Body is seeking to appoint a dedicated teaching assistant to support our fantastic children.
Essential requirements:
- A caring and professional attitude
- Ability to work well in a team
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Creativity
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching & Learning in School
- A calm personality
- An understanding of the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
Desirable:
- Previous experience of working in a school environment.
- NVQ Level 3 (or working towards)
