Summary

Position: Operations Delivery Manager

Location: Birmingham

Role: Full Time



Mitie are currently recruiting for an established and experienced Operations Delivery Manager to manage the delivery of passive fire services.



You will be accountable for all passive fire delivery from initial set up, delivery, onto successful completion, monitoring the progress of work on site and assessing the quality of the work being carried out and ensure the work is correct as per scope of works, and specifications.



Responsibilities include but not limited to:

-Meeting potential clients and managing their expectations.

-The first point of contact for clients and sub-contractors once a site is live

-Oversee projects/ works from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget, and to the highest quality.

-Managing and production of all aspects of Health & Safety, including - preparing site files, RAMS, Construction Phase Plans.

-Producing and managing programmes.

-Managing multiple projects at any one time.

-Management of directly employed staff and sub-contractors - organising labour, materials and plant requirements for each project.

-Contributing to work planning, and briefing project teams, contractors, and suppliers.

-Working closely with the Estimators / Quantity Surveyors - Keeping track of onsite changes and variations.

-Timely Ordering of materials and plant.

-Attending project / site meetings as the company representative.



Knowledge / Experience:

-Experience dealing with Sub Contractors,

-Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages,

-Health and Safety qualification preferable such as IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS etc,

-Previous experience and qualifications working within passive fire including fire doors,

-Experience of managing teams of operatives and contractors,

-Excellent customer service skills and commitment to deliver the works to the client's expectation,

-Experience of working to schedules of rates and commercial agreements,

-Valid CSCS card (preferable not imperative)

-Contract management: min 3 years' experience is preferable,

-Be able to use your own initiative, as well as working well as part of a team.
