Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the skills and confidence to support students with learning needs and disabilities? If so, we’re looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Learning Support Practitioner (LSP) to join our Additional Learning Support team at our Hadlow campus. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide academic and pastoral support to students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or identified Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). You’ll be supporting learners working towards qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3, including Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths in classroom, practical and workshop settings. In your role in delivering targeted out of class interventions, you will support these learners through their studies, providing welfare and personal case assistance (if required). You will work as part of a proactive and dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for our students. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to adapt their approach effectively to suit different stakeholders and needs of students, you will be empathetic, adaptable, proactive and committed to inclusive education with the ability to think creatively to provide different resolutions that arise within your role. Ideally, you will be experienced in supporting individuals with SEND and educated to at least Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent). The Role: Where you’ll work: This role is based at our Hadlow campus.Your hours: Up to 37 hours per week, 34 weeks per annum (Term-Time only contract).Your pay: £24,013 (Full-Time Equivalent)*We have opportunities for both part and full-time applicants, please detail in your personal statement if you are applying for a part-time position, including your desired hours.
