Foreign Language Assistant (French)
Fixed term 1 year contract initially with the potential to become permanent, term time only (38 weeks)
SCP Points 15 £29,093.00 — 18 £30,559.00 per annum, approximately 15 hours per week. There is an opportunity for flexibility in the hours and potential for a job share for the right candidates.
(Approximate pro-rota salary for 15 hours per week is £9,862.08 to £10,359.03 per annum).
We are recruiting for a Foreign Language Assistant in French to work with students up to A-Level.
The Post
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate effective practice in developing the speaking and writing of students of French, the ability to deliver targeted intervention to support and challenge students of different levels, and a willingness to contribute to the whole staff team.
Flexibility and the ability to motivate and encourage are essential qualities, along with energy and capacity for hard work. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of what effective practice and be committed to enabling all students to access the curriculum in order to fulfil their academic potential.

Languages at Cleeve
Languages are highly valued at Cleeve and there is a keen interest by the Executive Head and Trustees to continue to increase student uptake of the EBacc and develop international links and events across the curriculum.
