Teaching Assistant Flexible days (to be agreed at interview) - up to 31 hours per week for full-time Core hours are 8.30am - 3.00pm per dayPermanentSalary NJC Grade D SCP 4-6, FTE £24,404 - £25,183, £12.65 - £13.05 per hour (depending on experience)39 weeks per year, term time only£17,489 - £18,047 Pro-rata for 31 hours per weekTo start as early as possible after appointmentSuccessful candidates will be invited to attend an interview at the School on Thursday 17th July 2025.We are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to join our existing team of professionals.
The successful candidates will demonstrate:
an ability to work with a range of young people with SEND, including physical impairment
patience, sensitivity and an understanding of child development and learning
a strong team working ethos
good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills
an ability to work in a SEN role to support learning in the classroom and ensure individuals make progress
effective communication with young people and teachers
