Crynodeb
As Bulk Transfer Operative you must be a qualified to use a Telehandler 541-70 (including a bucket attachment) and must also have a Counterbalance forklift licence.
Key responsibilities:
• Sorting and segregating waste in the bays
• Reporting any issues to the Assistant Site Manager
• Loading and unloading of a shredder using a Telehandler
• Adhering to Company health and safety policies and procedures
• Assisting colleagues with loading and unloading of vehicles
• Liaising with site chemists, site managers and team leaders reference all incoming loads.
• Housekeeping – Ensuring the Bulk Transfer Station is kept clean and tidy
• Sweeping yard, lifting and repacking of full boxes from pallet loads, pulling IBC’s . This does require a lot of jumping on and off machinery
Other skills and attributes required:
• Telehandler Licence
• Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
• Hardworking, reliable and have a positive attitude towards your work
• A team player who can also work on your own initiative
• Knowledge of health and safety rules and regulations
