Summary
The University has a diverse estate, property and land portfolio spanning several campuses across Southampton, including the main Highfield campus, Boldrewood Innovation Campus, and the Winchester School of Art. The Estates & Facilities (E&F) team ensure that the University has a built and physical environment that supports the activities of a world-class University, across a portfolio of academic, state of the art research, clinical, enterprise, workspace, residential, social amenity, sport and community facilities. We have an ambitious estates masterplan that will see £1bn of investment in enhancing and delivering a sustainable, inclusive estate over the next decade.
About the role
Reporting to the Director of Estates PMO and Business Support; the Framework Manager is responsible for the operational management of the E&F procurement frameworks, ensuring seamless execution of contracts, procurement processes, supplier agreements, and governance compliance. Initial focus will be the implementation of the E&F Consultancy Framework which is currently being procured and will need go live from autumn 2025.
This role is critical for effective onboard suppliers, establishing regular supplier engagement and managing relationships. You are required to coordinate stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, transparency, and value for money. You will monitor and review performance and compliance ensuring prompt resolution of issues, addressing disputes, conflicts, or performance concerns fairly and transparently.
