1- Lead and manage the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
2- Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training and upskilling team members.
3- Maintain high standards in food quality, presentation and consistency – particularly with desserts and baked goods.
4- Monitor food hygiene, health and safety compliance in line with UK regulations.
5- Oversee stock levels, place orders with suppliers and manage deliveries and storage.
6- Reduce food waste through proper portion control and stock rotation.
7- Work with management to review and refresh the menu based on trends and customer feedback.
8- Support cost control efforts and contribute to kitchen budgeting.
