About the Role
The University Parks Team has care of the University Parks and all the University’s green functional estate. This includes the green spaces around all University departmental buildings. The department also runs a substantial contract business that accounts for at least half of the department’s activity.
The post holder will report to the Parks management team. Carrying out practical work activities and working as part of a team are the key attributes to this role.
About You
A craft qualification (e.g. NVQ or City & Guilds) in horticulture or other land-based work
A good and demonstrable knowledge of horticultural practices
Experience in the use and operation of a broad range of horticultural, landscape and grounds care equipment
Good plant knowledge
Full driving licence
A flexible approach to the work required.
