The household is comprised of two parents and their three children and is known for being friendly, down-to-earth, and respectful of household staff. This is a formal employment position offering a supportive working environment and excellent conditions for a dedicated and professional candidate.

This role would suit a warm, hard-working and discreet professional with excellent attention to detail and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate must be fit, child-friendly, and able to work harmoniously as part of a domestic team, supporting an existing housekeeper. The position involves general housekeeping duties, cleaning, family laundry (with the exception of bedding, which is outsourced), shopping for groceries and cleaning supplies, and occasional errand running. A car is provided for all errands and shopping duties. The top floor of the residence is rarely used and requires less frequent attention. Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- General daily housekeeping and maintenance of a busy family home
- Working as part of a team with another long-standing housekeeper
- Cleaning all living areas, bathrooms, kitchen and communal spaces
- Care of surfaces, furnishings and finishes with attention to detail
- Managing the family’s personal laundry (excluding bedding)
- Coordinating with outsourced bedding laundry service
- Changing beds and ensuring bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard
- Grocery shopping, cleaning supply management and restocking
- Occasional errand running – car provided by the family for all errands
- Ensuring the home is tidy, well-organised and guest-ready at all times
- Being child- and pet-friendly; helping to maintain a calm, respectful environment
- Demonstrating discretion, reliability and a positive attitude
