Crynodeb
We are recruiting for a dedicated and proactive Despatch Operative to join our clients team based in Irvine, North Ayrshire.
This position will be a full-time permanent position, for the right candidate. Weekly hours are Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.45 and Friday 8am - 12.45pm.
Duties will include
- Shipping finished goods via freight carriers both boxes and pallets (domestic and international).
- Organising daily job tickets and ensuring goods are shipped on the correct date to meet customer requirements.
- Accurate picking of customer orders.
- Final box inspection to company standards before shipping. (training will be given)
- Building pallet shipments and wrapping pallets safely for despatch.
- Completion of despatch paperwork accurately to industry standards.
- Booking and tracking of shipments via online portals.
- Helping in stores when work load allows.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a despatch environment or pharmaceutical environment would be desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a team and independently.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual lifting tasks.
- Computer literate.
