We have an exciting opportunity for a 2-year Interim Resource manager to start with our client based in Failsworth. This is with a view for the role to become permanent however with huge plans to expand and new projects on the horizon, there will also be opportunities for career progression within the first 2 years.
Role Purpose:
To oversee and manage the day-to-day delivery of high-quality care and support services within Supported Living houses - promoting respect, equality and independence and providing an environment where people can thrive and become the best they can be. Supported by the Service / Registered Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the staff team(s) and people who use the service in all day-to-day affairs and will help develop the service's long-term future.
The post holder will be responsible for 2 service one which is 20 bed and the other which is a 2 bed. They will be managing a team on 40 staff across the 2 services. Supported Living houses for vulnerable adults with a learning / physical disability, mental health problems, challenging behaviour, autism, ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) and a variety of complex health care issues.
You will not be required to be CQC registered however you will be responsible for the safe delivery and accurate recording of care in line with legislation, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and our company policies
What you will need:
To be successful in this role we are looking for post holders who drive and own their own car, this is essential as you will need to be able to get from service to service, meetings and any on call emergencies. It is also essential that you have previous experience managing a volume team and running a large service. Be able to commit to hours out of the normal 9-5, to support the needs of the services. We are looking for qualifications such as NVQ's & diplomas within the sector.
