What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you enthusiastic and passionate about creating a fun, innovative, and safe environment for children? Do you have the skills to create engaging activities that promote positive play and build friendships? If you are used to working with children aged 4 to 11, we would love to hear from you?
Due to increased numbers at our popular “Gledowls Before & Afterschool club,” we are pleased to be recruiting several playworkers to join our amazing team.
Successful Candidates will:
• Be dedicated, friendly, and caring committed to making a positive difference to the lives of young people, helping them grow and develop in a nurturing and playful environment.
• Demonstrate an ability to create and maintain a safe, secure, and fun environment for our children and be able to plan appropriate activities that support their development needs and personal interests.
• Be well organised, strong communicators able to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Have experience of working in an out of school club or similar setting.
You will be expected to:
• Work as a member of the Before and After School club team, showing initiative and creativity ensuring a high standard of childcare is always maintained.
• Be actively involved with planning and providing interesting learning opportunities through play, experiences, and activities, which allow the children to explore, develop and progress.
• Ensure the safety of children whilst in the club.
