What skills and experience we're looking for

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Working knowledge of national/foundation curriculum and other relevant learning programmes/strategies.
• Experience of working in a school environment or Early Years setting.
• Ability to develop good relationships with children and to work with them to promote high standards of behaviour and co-operation.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and use own initiative.

This role is term time only plus 5 training days and fixed term to 31st August 2026.

Whitehouse Primary School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join the school from September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to work under guidance of teaching/senior staff, and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individual/groups, in or out of the classroom.
