Your new role
Supply teachers are essential in keeping schools running smoothly when permanent staff are unavailable. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic and inspiring lessons across various year groups and subjects, helping learners stay engaged and on track
- Foster a calm and supportive learning environment using clear and consistent behaviour management techniques
- Monitor student progress and relay constructive feedback to full-time teaching staff to enhance each pupil's growth
- Move confidently between different school communities, tailoring your teaching style to suit diverse learners.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strengths in English, Maths and phonics
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Excellent communication and good classroom management
- Prior experience teaching within a primary school setting
