Your Role

The post of Early Help Advisor is an exciting opportunity to participate in the development of Stockport’s early help and SEND offer. Based in the Multi Agency Safeguarding and Support Hub (MASSH), which provides a single point of access for early help, SEND and CAMHS services. You will be part of a multi-agency team and will telephone triage early help, SEND and emotional wellbeing referrals, communicating with parents and professionals to signpost or refer families to appropriate services. You will provide advice and guidance to parents and professionals about early help and SEND and deliver multi agency training.

About You

We are looking for two enthusiastic early help practitioners with experience working in a multi-agency environment to join the team. A skilled communicator, you will be able to gather information quickly in order to assess needs and formulate a plan for children and their families. You will be experienced in working with families who require early help and have a good understanding of child development, SEND and emotional wellbeing needs. You will be able to identify safeguarding concerns if they arise, ensuring these are responded to swiftly. You have experience of completing Early Help or similar Assessments and providing guidance for others and delivering multi agency training. You are skilled at recording information concisely in a timely way.
