Laboratory TechnicianBridgwaterFixed term contract for 6 months
4 on 4 off shift pattern: 2 day shifts (7am-7pm), 2 night shifts (7pm – 7am), 4 off and repeat.£32,475.46 / £15.51 per hour
We are currently recruiting a Laboratory Technician to join our Bridgwater Dairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business. The successful person will enable the Dairy with assuring quality performance through analysis, subject knowledge and testing performance whilst striving to continuously improve in line with the Müller values.
Key tasks as Laboratory Technician:· Provide expertise through quality based testing and data evaluation· Display drive and motivation to continually improve quality based performance · Demonstrate active involvement in solving problems / trouble shooting through data analysis and evaluation· Play an active part in building QMS capability across site· Responsible for laboratory tasks and management systems (5S etc)· Support and process confirms operations quality control responsibilities· Have a good understanding and play an active part within the performance management system (PMS)· Provide governance and ownership of Quality Index and other monthly reports· Responsible for internal and external audit processes· Display good team work ability
What are we looking for in a Laboratory Technician:· HACCP Awareness (Level 2-3)· Basic Food Hygiene · Microbiology and aseptic techniques· Internal Audit· Yellow and Green belt problem solving· A3 problem solving· Electronic Data Capture· Dairy Science
