Francis Askew Primary School requires a Teaching Assistant Level 2 on a fixed term contract who has experience with speech and language interventions, and experience supporting children with special educational needs. The candidate will also be innovative, creative and excited about empowering children to make rapid progress in their learning.
Salary: Grade 4, Point 4 £24,790 - Point 7 £25,584 pro rata for 32.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday term time only (38 weeks per year). This is a fixed term contract for 1 year.

• Has a proven track record of effectively supporting children across the curriculum
• Has knowledge and understanding of how children learn
• Has knowledge and experience in delivering the Read Write Inc programme
• Has experience of supporting children with SEND, particularly social emotional mental health needs
• Has experience of speech and language interventions
• Can build effective working relationships with parents / carers
• Is committed to and passionate about high quality learning experiences for children
• Is ready to learn as part of a team and be challenged to become the best they can be.
