Location: Birmingham
Salary: C. £32,400
Hours: 37 hours per week (5 out of 7 days, occasional weekends)
Contract Type: Permanent
Travel: Driving licence and own vehicle preferred
I am seeking a compassionate and self-motivated Deputy Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of two small, homely residential services supporting adults with learning disabilities in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and daily management across two residential services
- Supervise and support a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide occasional weekend cover
- Travel for referrals and assessments as required
Essential Criteria:
- Female applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1)
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a supervisory role such as Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, or Deputy Manager within a setting for adults with learning disabilities.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using digital systems
- Flexible, proactive, and organised with excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel outside the local area - driving licence and own vehicle preferred
