Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Carbon Consultant to join our Clients team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading carbon assessment projects and providing expert advice on sustainable building practices. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and using OneClick LCA software to evaluate the environmental impacts of building projects.
- Performing Whole Life Carbon Assessments (WLCA) to inform sustainable design and construction decisions.
- Providing guidance on sustainability certifications, including BREEAM and WELL.
- Utilizing building performance simulation tools to analyze energy efficiency and environmental performance.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability into project designs.
- Preparing reports and presenting findings to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in carbon consulting and sustainable building practices.
- Proficiency in LCA and WLCA methodologies and OneClick LCA software.
- Strong knowledge of BREEAM, WELL standards.
- Experience in building performance simulation and analysis.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
