An innovative company renowned for its design excellence and being a market leading player within their industry are looking for an Mechanical Design Engineer to assist them with some lucrative new projects and add to its thriving Design team. This Company is growing year on year with their innovative products and the business will provide excellent job security and stability to this person to grow and develop within the organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and enhance the current confectionary depositor range.
- Collaborate with Production to ensure the smooth transition from design to manufacture.
- Manage and support multiple engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Provide hands-on support to the Service Team with technical issues and product guidance.
- Occasional overseas travel when asked upon.
- Provide technical expertise across the business, supporting departments such as Sales, Service, and Production.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in CAD, Autodesk Inventor would be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of motion control, gears, bearings, tolerancing and sheet metal design.
- Solid background in mechanical engineering.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
