Nurture, Learn, Grow – Join a Busy Nursery That Puts Children and Staff First
Our client is a welcoming and vibrant nursery setting with a spacious, modern environment designed to inspire learning and play. The service is well-established, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality early years education and care to a diverse and growing community of families.
Due to continued growth, the nursery is now looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive setting that values the professional development and well-being of its staff.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in supporting children’s early learning and development in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. Working collaboratively with your team, you’ll help plan and deliver engaging activities that follow the EYFS framework, promote curiosity, and encourage each child to reach their full potential.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
- A genuine passion for working with young children in a busy early years environment.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and an understanding of child development.
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
- A proactive, compassionate, and inclusive approach to care and learning.
- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting (preferred but not essential).
What’s on Offer
- Salary up to £28,500 (depending on qualification and experience).
- Ongoing training and career progression opportunities.
- Access to a benefits portal with discounts on shopping and lifestyle brands.
- Competitive pension scheme.
- Christmas and New Year closure for a well-deserved break.
- Generous discounted childcare for staff.
- Access to a well-being support programme and regular team well-being initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of a high standard of care and early education for all children.
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate, engaging activities that support development across all EYFS areas.
- Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through excellent communication and teamwork.
- Ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times, following safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines.
- Keep accurate records of children’s progress through observations and reports.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative nursery culture.
