The School of Divinity seeks an executive editor to join the Expository Times journal team, at University of Edinburgh. This journal seeks to disseminate scholarship relevant to ministry and looks at the interaction between theology and practice.
The Opportunity:
For over a century, the monthly Expository Times has distinguished itself from other periodicals by successfully combining an interest in all pastoral matters, practical and theoretical with the latest international biblical and theological scholarship.
This post is part-time (10 hours per week), and available from 1st September 2025.
The salary for this post is £40,497 to £48,149 pro rata, per annum.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Previous relevant editorial experience
High level of competence in online communications including webpages, email and other media, as well as a confident use of IT packages such as Word, Excel,
Proven ability to work to strict deadlines
