Summary
We are seeking a dedicated qualified (minimum level 3) Nursery Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and creating a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. We are looking for a candidate who has significant work experience at nurseries, We are a small nursery where all staff work closely together, offering each other support and encouragement.
Duties:
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery
- Support the Nursery Manager in planning and delivering engaging activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Drive the nursery's values and ethos, promoting a positive learning environment
- Assist in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Provide leadership and guidance to children during activities
Skills:
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage and organise activities effectively
- A passion for early childhood education and development
- Proficient in English language
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for children
