Crynodeb
The successful applicant will contribute to the specialist diabetes and endocrine services of the Trust in both in-patient and outpatient settings. They will be working with the rest of the multi-professional specialist team in developing the existing services, ensuring timely management of referrals, optimising integrated care pathways, and facilitating the movement of a proportion of care into a community setting. This post is based within the University Hospital of North Tees. Outpatient services are provided in the Outpatient departments in the University Hospitals of North Tees and of Hartlepool and other community settings within the catchment areas of Hartlepool and Easington There will also be the opportunity for research experience within the diabetes programme. It is desired the successful candidate will help to consolidate a currently large insulin pump Service.
