We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer to join our platform and engineering team. You'll help us build and maintain an innovative platform powered by ServiceNow and Amazon Connect, helping transform the colleague experience and the service we provide to our users.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
- Significant experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions across multiple data centres and public cloud platforms.
- Be a subject matter expert in multiple areas of the ServiceNow core platform modules or the IT Service Management modules.
- Significant demonstrable experience in in ServiceNow platform security.
- Significant experience in enterprise-wide SaaS, PaaS or IaaS application deployment.
- Extensive experience and proficient with integration frameworks, technologies and best practice.
- Significant experience in influencing and communication skills when presenting to technical governance forums.
You and your role
IN DWP Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineers support our platform engineering and live operations team.
You'll work closely with Product Managers to explore technical ideas and figure out how best to use ServiceNow's built-in features to meet our needs, now and in future.
Your role will involve helping shape technical solutions, designing integrations, and making sure everything aligns with our strategy and standards. You'll collaborate with engineers, designers, architects and vendors to bring ideas to life and ensure they're secure and scalable.
Experience with ServiceNow modules, ITIL, integrations and cloud telephony like Amazon Connect would be a bonus but not essential. You'll have chance to build new skills and level up your career here.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £68,517.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth over £16,000 per year.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.
You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
