THE ROLE
As a Payroll and Finance Administrator, you will support the smooth operation of the company’s payroll processes, reporting directly to the Payroll Manager. Using Miracle Pay, you will help ensure that all payroll activities are completed accurately and on time. This includes processing overtime, mileage claims, and lodge allowances, alongside managing key statutory documents such as P45s, P60s, and P11Ds. You will also support the Payroll Manager with year-end reporting and ensure correct processing of statutory payments including SMP, SSP, and SPP, as well as pension contributions and Attachment of Earnings orders. The role involves regular communication with employees and external providers, requiring a professional and approachable manner. You will also contribute to broader payroll administration and support project work as needed. This is a great role for someone with a year’s payroll experience who enjoys working within a fast-paced and confidential environment and is eager to continue developing their skills.

REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a motivated and methodical individual with a strong administrative background and at least one year of payroll experience. You will be a reliable team player with a can-do attitude and the confidence to manage your own workload.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a payroll-related position (administration-focused roles welcome)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach with a willingness to learn
• Confident communication skills and a collaborative mindset
