Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Administrator for a leading manufacturing client based in Huddersfield.
The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the account management team to ensure effective and accurate processing of enquiries, orders and shipments (UK & Export).
To be considered for this role, you will have a strong background in sales administration, be self motivated and have great time management skills.

A background within manufacturing/engineering is required for this role.
This is a full time permanent opportunity available for an immediate start for the right candidate.
Hours - Hours Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 / Friday: 08:30 – 12:30

Role Description
• Processing and contract review of sales orders and sales order amendments in accordance with Management System Documents. Progress of the contract review and acknowledgement of those orders is reviewed on a weekly basis.
• Liaise with the RP& RPMI Operations teams and agree delivery dates on new and amended sales orders.
• Working with the Sales & Commercial and Operations teams to ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) is achieved. Reviews are carried out weekly and the OTIF target is 100%
• Sending of product test results / inspection reports to customers at time of shipment.
• Invoicing and documentation preparation for shipments to UK and overseas customers ensuring the required export documentation, where required, is provided to the carrier. This will involve the use of courier portals.
• Providing shipping detail to enable clearance of incoming shipments through customs.
• Logging of customer returns / repairs and sales disposition activity including and the raising of credit notes / provision of replacements where appropriate.
• Processing of credit notes not related to returns.
• Processing and quoting of “lower” level Standard Product enquiries
• General customer support written & verbal.
• Provide administrative support to the Sales & Commercial team.
Qualifications / Skills

• Demonstrable background working within a Sales Administrative type role within a technical/ manufacturing / engineering environment.
• Strong commercial understanding
• Strong communication skills – Written and Verbal
