We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented utilities analyst to support the efficient management of energy and water across our property portfolio. About the Role
As a Utilities Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting utility procurement, data analysis, and project coordination. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external consultants to ensure effective energy and water usage, with a focus on sustainability and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse energy and water usage across the property portfolio.
- Arrange, manage and attend appointments for smart meter installations, upgrades, fault repairs, and obtain meter readings.
- Support procurement of utilities, including tender processes and contract management.
- Manage and resolve utility billing queries and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and third-party agents to deliver value and service.
- Provide insight through data analysis to support carbon reduction and sustainability initiatives.
- Track progress on multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting for regulatory compliance and performance monitoring.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role managing energy and utilities portfolios.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to gather insights from invoices and billing data.
- Knowledge of carbon reduction and sustainability principles in utilities management.
- Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with colleagues, suppliers, and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data management tools.
- Experience working with energy consultants, suppliers, and third-party agents. (Desirable)
- Familiarity with metering, industry regulations, and compliance standards. (Desirable)

A valid UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the property portfolio are essential. The role also requires a willingness to work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours support, and the ability to successfully complete a Basic DBS check.
