ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a SEMH Teacher for an Ofsted "Outstanding" SEND school in Kennington.
The school focus heavily on supporting student from a psychological perspective, using therapists from different experiences to support the students' SEMH needs directly. The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. The school are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, energy and a passion to work with students with challenging behaviour.

About the Role:

The SEN School are looking for a qualified SEN Teacher that has experience with SEMH needs and ideally a Psychology background. Teaching Primary and Secondary aged students, aged 5-16. The role would be perfect for an experienced Teacher coming from a Psychology education looking for a fulfilling role helping to support students that need 1:1 attention.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong core subject knowledge
- Experience teaching SEN, preferably SEMH specifically
- Ideally a Psychology education, subject knowledge
- Ability to Plan and Deliver tailored lessons to classes of ranging abilities
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Up to date safeguarding certificate and Enhanced DBS on the Update
- Right to work in the UK
