CNC Machinist (Fanuc and/or Mazatrol) – Thorne - £excellent relevant to experience
Our client is on the lookout for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their forward-thinking, safety-first manufacturing team. If you've got experience with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol systems and take pride in quality work, this role will be a great match for you.
Days only with overtime available.
Key Duties
• Setting up and operating CNC machines (grinding, turning, milling)
• Loading materials, verifying tool settings, and inspecting first-run parts
• Translating engineering drawings into precise production specs
• Conducting routine machine checks and maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency
• Keeping detailed records of machine operations and performance
• Supporting a strong safety culture and working collaboratively with your team
• Adapting to production needs with flexible working and attention to detail
Candidate Requirements
• Apprenticeship or Technical Qualification in CNC or mechanical engineering
• Previous experience in a production environment
• Solid computer skills
• Strong communication, a keen eye for detail, and a safety-first mindset
• Natural problem-solver with a can-do attitude
