The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Trainee Mortgage and Protection Compliance Administrator. Ideally, you will have some experience in mortgage and protection administration, compliance, or a similar financial services role. However, full training can be provided to the right individuals who demonstrate a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in building a career in financial services compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the review and processing of mortgage and protection applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate and fully compliant with FCA regulations.
* Supporting the compliance team in monitoring and maintaining up-to-date records, using our CRM and various mortgage and protection software systems.
* Communicating clearly and professionally with clients, advisers, lenders, and insurers, both in writing and over the phone as required.
* Conducting compliance checks and ensuring all activities adhere to internal policies and FCA guidelines.
* Assisting with the preparation of compliance reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
* Responding promptly and professionally to compliance-related queries, delivering a high standard of service.
About You
* Ideally, you will have some experience in mortgage and protection administration, compliance, or a related financial services role, but this is not essential.
* Strong computer skills and confidence in using a range of software applications, as the role is predominantly computer-based.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly and professionally on the phone when needed.
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a genuine interest in building a career in financial services compliance.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours
Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5.30pm
