Summary
The Role
We are seeking two motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Trainee Mortgage and Protection Compliance Administrators. Ideally, you will have some experience in mortgage and protection administration, compliance, or a similar financial services role. However, full training can be provided to the right individuals who demonstrate a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in building a career in financial services compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the review and processing of mortgage and protection applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate and fully compliant with FCA regulations.
* Supporting the compliance team in monitoring and maintaining up-to-date records, using our CRM and various mortgage and protection software systems.
* Communicating clearly and professionally with clients, advisers, lenders, and insurers, both in writing and over the phone as required.
* Conducting compliance checks and ensuring all activities adhere to internal policies and FCA guidelines.
* Assisting with the preparation of compliance reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
* Responding promptly and professionally to compliance-related queries, delivering a high standard of service.
About You
* Ideally, you will have some experience in mortgage and protection administration, compliance, or a related financial services role, but this is not essential.
* Strong computer skills and confidence in using a range of software applications, as the role is predominantly computer-based.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly and professionally on the phone when needed.
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a genuine interest in building a career in financial services compliance.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours
Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5.30pm
