What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible Cover Supervisor to join our team at Kingsway Park High School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is committed to helping every student thrive.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide supervision for classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain engaged, focused and supported in their learning. You will deliver pre-prepared resources and maintain a positive and purposeful classroom environment across a broad range of subject areas.

When not supervising lessons, you will have the opportunity to support wider learning and student development through small group work or assisting colleagues in key areas such as teaching, learning and pastoral care. This role is ideal for those considering a future career in education or youth support.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people aged 11–16 in an educational setting.
• Is confident, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Is committed to raising aspirations and supporting the progress of all learners.
