ABOUT THE ROLE
As a RESTAURANT AND CATERING OUTLET ASSISTANT, you will support the smooth running of The Granary Restaurant and catering outlets at the Rare Breeds Centre (RBC). The RBC is a busy tourist attraction in Woodchurch, run by Canterbury Oast Trust. Your role will include serving customers, preparing food and drinks, and ensuring excellent customer service.
REQUIREMENTS
o You must be 18 OR OVER to work across all catering outlets
o Weekend and school holiday availability is ESSENTIAL
o Due to our rural location, you must have YOUR OWN TRANSPORT to reach the RBC
PAY, HOURS AND TRAINING:
o HOURLY RATE: £12.26 (21+), £10 (18-20), £7.55 (Under 18), plus a weekend allowance of £0.70 per hour
o FLEXIBLE/CASUAL POSITION with 5-hour shifts per day
o Full training provided, including mandatory e-learning and shadow shifts
ELIGIBILITY
All appointments are subject to:
o PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY to work in the UK
o ENHANCED DBS CHECK
o TWO SATISFACTORY REFERENCES, including one from your most recent employer
o FULL EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
