TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Medway. We are currently seeking a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the team from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who is passionate about making a difference in children’s education. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will support across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering planned lessons, leading small group interventions, and covering classes when needed.

        The ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will:

        • Hold a relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent

          
          

          • Have recent experience working within a UK primary school

            
            

            • Be confident in leading whole class sessions in the teacher’s absence

              
              

              • Be flexible, proactive and able to use their initiative

                
                

                • Have excellent communication and behaviour management skills
